Arvind Sanger - Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager and CEO

Mr. Sanger is the founder of Geosphere Capital, a global long-short fund manager currently investing in natural resources, new energy and Indian equities. Prior to that, between 2002 and 2007, Mr. Sanger was a Portfolio Manager at SAC Capital, running one of the largest equity portfolios and managing a global team based in New York and Singapore. Prior to his tenure at SAC, Mr. Sanger had a 15-year career as a top-ranked, sell-side oil services and equipment analyst at a number of firms, including Deutsche Bank, DLJ and Kidder Peabody among others. Mr. Sanger graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with a B. Tech in 1984 and received his MBA from Tulane University in 1987. Mr. Sanger is on the board of the Alexander Hamilton Society, Pratham USA and Pratham Educational Foundation in India.

Norman Teitelbaum, CFA - Senior Analyst, Global Energy & Shipping

Mr. Teitelbaum joined Geosphere at inception in 2007. He has primary research responsibility for the exploration and production companies, as well as the refiners, majors, pipelines oil services, shipping and alternative energy companies. He worked with Mr. Sanger at SAC prior to joining Geosphere at its founding. He was awarded the CFA Charter in 2008 and earned a BBA in Finance from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, CUNY in 2002.

Patrick Murray -Senior Analyst, Metals, Mining, Cyclicals, &
Industrials

Mr. Murray joined Geosphere in 2024 and has responsibility for cyclicals coverage globally. Prior to Geosphere, Patrick managed a market neutral equity portfolio focused on industrials & infrastructure. From 2017-2021 he was a senior analyst at SAYA Management, an industrials focused long-short equity fund. Earlier in his career Patrick held roles in private equity and M&A at Stonepeak and J.P. Morgan, respectively. Patrick has 16 years of financial markets experience, all within the broader industrials sector. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Brown University in 2008.
